Celem spotkania była ocena efektów realizacji działań w okresie od zatwierdzenia wniosku projektowego do chwili obecnej. W trakcie spotkania omówiona została współpraca pomiędzy partnerami dotycząca realizacji zadań projektowych na najbliższe miesiące. A także propozycje wspólnych działań w nowej perspektywie finansowej na lata 2021-2027. Ponadto strony przeanalizowały systemem kontroli pierwszego stopnia, sprawozdawczość w projekcie oraz działania promocyjne i zmiany w karcie projektu, które planują wprowadzić zachowując dotychczasowy budżet. Drugiego dnia spotkania partnerzy udali się w rejon granicy państwowej w celu oceny i omówienia zasad działania systemu optoelektronicznego zakupionego w ramach projektu zlokalizowanego w m. Tomaszówka. Stronę polską reprezentowali: płk SG Stanisław Supiński oraz płk SG Łukasz Ćwik. Stronę białoruską Pan płk Andrei Hirs wraz z delegacjami.
Kolejne spotkanie Komitetu Sterującego Projektem zaplanowano na terenie służbowej odpowiedzialności Nadbużańskiego Oddziału SG w miesiącach czerwiec lub lipiec 2020 r.

On 05-06.03.2020 in Brest (Belarus) the 3rd meeting of the Steering Committee of Project No. PBU1/0062/16 "Joint initiatives of border guards on increasing the effectiveness of border checks and state border protection" organized under the Cross-Border Cooperation Programme PL-BY-UA 2014-2020 was held.
The purpose of the meeting was to assess the effects of the implementation of the activities from the approval of the project application to the present. During the meeting, the cooperation between the partners concerning the implementation of project tasks for the coming months was discussed. The parties also analysed the system of first level control, project reporting and promotional activities and changes in the project charter which they plan to introduce while maintaining the existing budget. On the second day of the meeting, the partners went to the area of the state border in order to assess and discuss the principles of operation of the optoelectronic system purchased under the project located in Tomaszówka. The Polish side was represented by: Colonel SG Stanisław Supiński and Colonel SG Łukasz Ćwik. The Belarusian side was represented by Colonel Andrei Hirs and delegations.
The next meeting of the Project Steering Committee was planned in the area of official responsibility of the Nadbuzanski Border Guard Regional Unit in June or July 2020.
