W związku z obecną sytuacją epidemiologiczną spowodowaną przez koronawirus SARS-CoV-2 należy uznać obecną sytuację za nadzwyczajną i spełniającą definicję siły wyższej. Rozwój epidemii wpłynął negatywnie na realizację projektu poprzez konieczność czasowego zawieszenia działań oraz odwołania organizowanych spotkań i szkoleń.
Sytuacja pandemii COVID-19 nie pozwoliła na to, aby szkolenia odbywały się w formie tradycyjnej. Były one prowadzone on-line.

As part of project no. PBU1/0062/16 pn. “Joint initiatives of border guards on increasing the effectiveness of border checks and state border protection” (Grant Contract No PLBU.04.02.00 – 20-0062/17-00 and Addendum No PLBU.04.02.00 – 20-0062/17-01)
4 on - line trainings were organised with 20 participants each from Poland and Belarus.
1. "Use of thermal imaging devices for border protection".
2. "Modern technical equipment for border protection"
3. "Use of mobile communications systems".
4. "Use of integrated perimeter protection systems".
In view of the current epidemiological situation caused by the SARS–CoV–2 coronavirus, it is appropriate to consider the current situation as extraordinary and fulfilling the definition of force majeure. The development of the epidemic has had a negative impact on the implementation of the project through the need to temporarily suspend activities and to cancel organized meetings and trainings.
The COVID-19 pandemic situation allowed for this, so that the training not took place in a traditional form. They were conducted on-line.
